Convert the following degree measure to radian measure:  72.82 degrees.

72.82 degrees = ___ radians (round to the nearst thousandth as needed.)

okay so i’m doing the 1 degree = pi/180 degrees, meaning i take the degree/180 degrees, and i keep getting .405, but the answer is 1.271. WHY.

In a circle of radius 96cm, an arc 248cm long subtends an angle  of how many radians?  How many degrees?

I got that the arc subtends to the angle 31/21 radians, but again, it needs to be converted to degrees so the radians times 180.

I don’t understand why these two are being difficult, i did like 5 degree to radian conversions before these and i got them all correct.

so WHY. omg please help meeeeeeee.

In the first one, multiply .405 x pi.  I’m guessing in the second, divide by pi?

Dear god. This picture was 100% his idea.
You can’t even see my ring. I gave him the bigger, nicer one because i’m such a good fiancée/wife.
“I thought you’d never ask!”

There are many reasons I miss Maryland and want to move home. Missing you and moments like this ranks very close to number 1.
Also… for just getting engaged/married, you look more ready to summon Captain Planet than make babies. Just saying. Love you. Both.

The brand of tampons I use has cheesy inspirational sayings on the wrappers such as “the sky is the limit” and stuff like that. Today, I noticed one that said “Focus on the positive, at least now you know you’re not pregnant.” Thanks Playtex Sport, periods don’t seem so bad anymore. MLIA

this is, by far, the only good thing about getting your period.

I’ve said it before, but it is seriously such a relief every time… even without cause for alarm anyhow.
