Convert the following degree measure to radian measure: 72.82 degrees.
72.82 degrees = ___ radians (round to the nearst thousandth as needed.)
okay so i’m doing the 1 degree = pi/180 degrees, meaning i take the degree/180 degrees, and i keep getting .405, but the answer is 1.271. WHY.
In a circle of radius 96cm, an arc 248cm long subtends an angle of how many radians? How many degrees?
I got that the arc subtends to the angle 31/21 radians, but again, it needs to be converted to degrees so the radians times 180.
I don’t understand why these two are being difficult, i did like 5 degree to radian conversions before these and i got them all correct.
so WHY. omg please help meeeeeeee.
In the first one, multiply .405 x pi. I’m guessing in the second, divide by pi?
